Perhaps you already get along in most situations, but you wish to become more confident and efficient in using the language when dealing with customers, colleagues or business partners. In this course you will work through a range of authentic tasks and situations from modern business life: person-to-person contacts, telephoning, taking parts in meetings, exchanging information, dealing with problems, entertaining visitors and business travel. While the main focus of this course is on developing listening and speaking skills, we will also look at the language of modern business correspondence. The training of language skills will be complemented by studying and discussing issues from the business world.
